Abstract:

The personality factors exert a proved influence on the way the students learn and evolve throughout their academic period. This study was performed on a representative group of 259 students from the University of Medicine and aimed at analyzing the influence of three personality factors, Neuroticism, Extraversion, Conscientiousness, and of stress on the academic performance. The results revealed that only two of the personality factors have a significant influence and that stress has more of a motivational role.
